Felicity is currently attending the London premiere for Like Crazy and the first few pictures from the event have been added to the gallery.

Felicity also appears in November’s edition of Elle US, looking absolutely stunning. This is easily my favourite photoshoot – I don’t know how she does it!

In other news, Fliss is featured in the November edition of Glamour (US) – I’d really appreciate it if anyone who gets their hands on a copy could scan the pictures for us!

With thanks for Felicity Jones Fans for the heads up, we know that Felicity recently attended the Aspen Film Festival to promote Like Crazy with her costars. Two images from this event have been added to the gallery – I love her outfit, as always!

While Like Crazy promotion continues, it has been announced that it will also be screening at the Napa Valley Film Festival, ‘Screening at 5:30 pm Sunday, November 13, at the Napa Valley Opera House!’

Lastly, but certainly not least, Felicity has been featured on Details.com alongside a new photoshoot image. After a far bit of searching I have managed to find the whole set of images from the shoot and have, of course, added them to the gallery for your viewing pleasure.

Many young actresses take their work too seriously, but not Felicity Jones. A recent starring role in the 18th-century tragedy Luise Miller on London’s West End required the 27-year-old Brit to die a terrible death each night, but in one performance she opted to keel over with a big smile on her face. “A cast member dared me to,” she explains. “Everyone thinks we’re solemn, but there were a lot of jokes going on.”

That sense of spontaneity proved useful to Jones, who has been acting since she was 11, in her American big break, Like Crazy, a largely improvised tale of college sweethearts struggling to maintain a transatlantic relationship. “The first few days of shooting were incredibly frightening,” she says of the Sundance hit, in theaters this month. “There’s no script. But after a few takes, you find the right words.”

Director Drake Doremus was so impressed by Jones that he cast her in his next film, a drama about a coquette who tempts her teacher (Guy Pearce). But up first is the comedy Hysteria. “It’s about the invention of the vibrator,” Jones says with a laugh. “There’s a scene in which my character decides to give the machine a go. Doing that in front of the entire crew was . . . interesting.” Talk about an actress with buzz.

USA Today has posted a short interview with Felicity talking about the fame she is receiving from her current production of Like Crazy.

British actress Felicity Jones has emerged as one of this year’s breakouts, thanks to her heartbreaking performance in the Sundance winner Like Crazy. And she’s still adjusting to doing nonstop interviews in Toronto to promote her long-distance romance, which opens in October.

“It is quite intimidating. I think the best thing is to enjoy the ride while it’s happening,” says Jones on Tuesday during a chat the Fairmont Royal York hotel.

She flew in to Toronto four hours after wrapping her as-yet untitled film, also directed by Crazy‘s Drake Doremus. And sure, she’s a little knackered, but it’s all good.

“It’s not very often when you make something and you love making it and the product is something you can be really proud of. I’m really pleased to be talking about this film,” she says. “I understood what it felt like to be different people in different places.”

Every season gets the It girl it deserves, and with any luck, Felicity Jones will be the ingenue-of-the-moment this autumn. The 27-year-old British actor has done time as a child TV star and a corset-drama supporting player, but with her turn in Like Crazy—Drake Doremus’s indie chronicling the loneliness of a long-distance relationship, and the winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance last January—she’s poised to join the ranks of talented English roses who make larger audiences swoon.

“I was keen to explore a character who knows what she wants,” Jones says. “Or [who] knows that she’s found the person she wants to be with, even if things get in the way.” For example, the visa problems that keep her and Anton Yelchin’s characters on opposite sides of the Atlantic. The lovers struggle to maintain a connection during their postgraduation years amid bureaucratic red tape and growing pains. “The changes that you go through from the time you’re 19 to 26 are huge; those are the most formative years of your life,” Jones notes. “The fact that these two have to try and weather [that transformation] separately is a serious challenge.”

Almost as challenging, you’d imagine, as maintaining a level head when your film becomes the toast of Park City. “The Sundance experience was…it’s almost indescribable how fast it happens,” Jones admits. “You spend all this time making this small little movie that you think, Well, I like the movie, so if we’re lucky, at least a few other people will like it as well. Then suddenly, you’re in the middle of something that’s so much bigger than you. It’s a dream come true and yet completely daunting.”

Like Crazy opens Oct 28.

In other news, don’t forget to catch Felicity’s new drama Page Eight on the BBC2 this Sunday (28th August) at 9pm!

Felicity and her co-star Jessica Brown-Findlay are featured in an interview and brand new photo shoot for London’s ES Magazine. The images are extremely striking and you can find them in the gallery by clicking on the previews below. The interview is shown below the thumbnails.

(…) Another close friend is her Albatross co-star Felicity Jones. They first met at auditions. ‘We supported each other. For Jess it was a big responsibility as it was her first role but she pulled it off with such ease,’ says Felicity, exhausted at the end of her critically acclaimed run as the lead in the Donmar’s Luise Miller. ‘It’s slowly killing me but we’re in our last week now,’ she sighs. Felicity news is currently slow, hopefully it will pick up again soon! In the mean time, my friend Celyn shared this new article from The Telegraph Magazine and I thought you may like to read it too!

Later: While browsing Tumblr, I stumbled upon two images missing from the gallery, and unseen scan from around 2008 alongside Doctor Who star Matt Smith, and an image from the Ben Rayner photoshoot in 2009!

Time is getting on a bit when Felicity Jones turns up for our interview.

She’s windswept and slightly harassed, but sweetly apologetic. ‘I’m so sorry!’ she gasps, shaking her fringe from her eyes and explaining something complicated about traffic and buses.

If things had worked out differently, Jones wouldn’t be in east London at all today.

She’d be 3,000 miles away in Montreal, for the first day of filming of a multi-million dollar version of Snow White, with Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen. Hers would have been the title role.

She turned it down, though – she was already committed to a Schiller play. So instead of a potentially career-defining blockbuster and a Hollywood pay-day, it was eight shows a week in the West End with Luise Miller.

FemaleFirst have compiled a list of actresses to keep an eye out for in 2011, Felicity is listed near the top alongside Saoirse Ronan and Kaya Scodelario. This is what the magazine has to say about our favourite leading lady:

It’s already been a busy 2011 for the actress with the release of The Tempest and Chalet Girl, which saw her take on her first major lead role.

The movie was met well by the critics and performed well at the box office and launched the actress as a talent to keep an eye on.

And there is plenty in the pipeline for Jones as she has already completed work on Hysteria, which sees her team up with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Rupert Everett, and Page Eight, which stars Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz.

Later: With a big thank you to Jack, I have added 2 new images from Albatross to our gallery.
