Felicity is tipped to be a popular choice for a new movie based on the novel Fifty Shades of Grey. For those not familiar with the books they are currently topping the charts as best sellers and began as fan fiction stories written by E.L James. The erotica novels are due to be turned into a film and fans are keen to see Felicity in the lead role alongside The Vampire Diaries star (and a personal favourite of mine) Ian Somerhalder.
Judging from the impressive fan base of “Fifty Shades”, Universal Studios, who is in charge of the film adaptation, won’t have a hard time choosing the leads. Fan polls have popped up like mushrooms all over the web. Among all these fan polls, who is in the lead? Surprisingly so, Ian Somerhalder of “The Vampire Diaries” is taking the lead as fan poll favorite to play Christian Grey. On the other hand, leading the poll for Anastasia Steele is Felicity Jones from “The Worst Witch”.
As for Somerhalder, the 27-year old is a busy-bee with all his Twitter campaigns to bag the role of Christian Grey. There has been no word from Felicity Jones regarding the role. Yet, another actress in the running for the role of Anastasia Steele, Lucy Hale, is dead on serious about being in the film.
“I’m on ‘Fifty Shades Darker,’ ” said Lucy Hale in an MTV News interview, adding, “”I definitely am ready to take a step and do something a bit more risky, absolutely, but it’s a fine line,” she said. “I don’t know what that fine line is, but I’m definitely ready to explore a darker side of my acting abilities.”

For now, Hollywood celebs taking the lead on fan polls would be Ian Somerhalder and Felicity Jones. However, with readers and fans increasing by the second, the choices may change.
